About this place
Historic manor begun in the late 15th century by Álvaro Martins Homem and enlarged by João Vaz Corte-Real, Angra's first donatary captains, in a central area of the city's early growth.
Azzy’s story
This house takes us back to Angra's earliest days, when the donatary captains played a key role in organising and developing the settlement. From here, the city grew and gained the importance it would later hold in the Atlantic.
