Contemporary cultural centre opened in 2023, designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira over the ruins of the former Casa dos Pamplona and dedicated to the history and heritage of Angra do Heroísmo.

Here, Angra's past and present meet in the same place. The Interpretation Centre helps you discover the city's evolution, the impact of the 1980 earthquake and the importance of the historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.
