Azzy’s story
Built on the initiative of Luís Jacinto Pacheco, Ermida de Nossa Senhora dos Milagres opened for worship on 8 August 1902. It remains the centre of Pesqueiro's traditional festivities, which bring the community together every year in honour of its patron saint.
