Historic chapel in Ribeirinha, already in existence in the 16th century and dedicated to Saint Amaro.
Azzy’s story
Ermida de Santo Amaro is one of Ribeirinha's oldest churches and was rebuilt and enlarged in 1902. Tradition says the saint's image was found in this area and mysteriously returned whenever it was taken to the parish church, leading the population to build the chapel here.
