About this place
Early-18th-century parish church dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Penha de França and the main church of Posto Santo.
Azzy’s story
The church already existed before 1716, the year it became the seat of the Posto Santo curacy. Over the centuries it grew into the centre of the parish's religious life and still stands out for its elevated position near Pico da Urze.
