Holy Spirit Império built in 1861, the oldest in the parish of Terra Chã.
Azzy’s story
The Império do Terreiro has kept the Holy Spirit tradition alive for more than 160 years. The Corvelo family left it a legacy intended for the annual distribution of bread and meat to people in need, hospitals and care homes during the Holy Spirit festivities.
