Azzy’s story
Devotion to the Holy Spirit in Remédios dates back to 1850, when the Canto e Castro family created the brotherhood and its crown. In 1909 a dedicated império was built in Largo dos Remédios and moved in 1959 to Rua Francisco de Ornelas, where the Holy Spirit traditions continue today.
