Azzy’s story
Called “Valentes como a Rocha” — Brave as the Rock — this monument depicts a face-to-face bull-catching move and honours the courage of Terceira's forcados. The work symbolically links the strength of men and bull with the hardness of the Azores' volcanic rock.
