Azzy’s story
Housed in a former school building opened in 1888, Núcleo Museológico dos Altares brings together objects, tools and memories linked to farming, traditional trades and everyday parish life. Since 2004, it has helped preserve and tell the identity of Altares and Terceira Island itself.
