Urban sandy beach inside Angra Bay, integrated into the city's historic centre and known as the only designated bathing area with sand in the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo.
Azzy’s story
Today it is one of the favourite places for a swim right in the heart of Angra, but for centuries this small beach was also linked to the city's maritime activity, supporting the maintenance of vessels that crossed the Atlantic.
