Recreational forest reserve created in 1989, developed from one of Terceira Island's first forest nurseries.
Azzy’s story
The Viveiros da Falca began by producing trees and plants for reforestation on Terceira. Today, among Japanese cedars, camellias and azaleas, the area has become a pleasant place for nature, walking and leisure at the foot of Serra de Santa Bárbara.
